Two ways in
The Work & What It Costs
Parts-based connection coaching can be used for both individual and couples sessions. There are two container sizes, and both begin the same way: a free first conversation.
This work isn't covered by insurance. The cost is direct and transparent.
Two other ways in
Scholarship spot
$150 per hour
one spot each month · up to 6 hours ($900)
Funded by those who pay the standard rate. Paid in full or in three payments of $300, with the first due before the first session. If money is the only thing standing between you and this work, ask whether the month's spot is open.
Referred by a practitioner
$3,000
the same 12-hour container
When a therapist, coach, or somatic practitioner who knows this work sends you my way, you receive the full 12-hour container at a preferred rate. Someone who already knows you has considered whether this may be a useful next step.
Coming from someone? Mention their name at the payment screen, and the rate is yours.
Working as a couple
More space for the two of you.
Couples use the same containers, with the hours shared between you and woven across joint and individual sessions. Most couples choose the 24-hour container, which gives us room to understand what happens between you, explore what each of you carries, and practice new ways of relating.
Your shared time is tracked by the minutes we actually use together. Joint sessions count by elapsed time, not separately for each partner.
You can request a firm ending time. The FAQ below explains how the reserved second hour works.
We'll confirm the fit and the details during our first conversation.
See the full couples page for how joint and individual sessions weave together.
Paying for your container
When you're ready, paying is simple.
We always talk first. Once we've had our conversation and you've decided to begin, choose the container we agreed on. Each button opens its own secure Square checkout.
Referred by a practitioner? Type their name in the note field on the Square page.
Payments are handled securely by Square. Card details are never entered on this site. Paying in full or in three installments both work; mention which you'd prefer and I'll set it up.

Questions about working together
A container is a shared commitment to the work, with a set amount of session time. There are two sizes: 12 hours (720 minutes) and 24 hours (1,440 minutes). Either one can be used for individual or couples work.
I track the minutes we actually use. A 60-minute session uses 60 minutes; a 90-minute session uses 90 minutes. The number of sessions depends on their length, and we discuss the pace together.
We begin with one scheduled hour, and I reserve an additional hour afterward so we have room to continue when it feels useful to both of us. Sometimes an important moment needs more space.
Continuing is always a shared decision. You can request a firm ending time, and reserved time we don't use does not count toward your container.
Usually, we weave the two together. Joint sessions help us understand what happens between you and practice new ways of connecting. Individual sessions give each of you space to explore your own reactions, needs, and protective patterns.
Both draw from the same shared container. An hour together counts as one hour, not two. We discuss how to balance the sessions and agree on expectations around privacy and sharing before beginning.
An immersion offers three days of dedicated space for your relationship. It gives us an opportunity to slow down, explore recurring patterns, and practice connecting with greater understanding.
We'll discuss fit, structure, pricing, and how an immersion relates to ongoing sessions during our first conversation. Three days does not mean 24 hours of sessions.
Containers may be paid in full or in three equal installments. Payment happens after our first conversation, once we both feel the work is a fit.
One scholarship spot is available each month at $150 per hour, for up to a 6-hour container ($900 total). It can be paid in full or in three payments of $300, with the first $300 due before the first session. You're welcome to ask about current availability during our first conversation.
We spend about 20 minutes talking about what brings you here, what you hope might change, and any questions you have about the work. I'll explain how I work, and we'll explore whether it feels like a good fit.
You don't need to prepare your whole story or know exactly what you need. This is a conversation, with no obligation to book a package.
No. You may already recognize that different parts of you want different things: one wants closeness while another pulls away, or one wants to speak while another worries about the reaction.
We start with your experience and introduce the approach as we go. There's nothing you need to study or get right beforehand.
Relating Studio offers parts-based connection coaching rooted in Internal Family Systems principles. It is not psychotherapy or a substitute for clinical mental health care.
Our work focuses on understanding your patterns, developing greater self-leadership, and practicing new ways of relating. We'll discuss whether coaching fits your needs and whether other support would be more appropriate or helpful alongside it.
