From Master Tailor to Soul Tailor

For over a decade, I worked with people, not just fabric.

As a master tailor, I was invited into some of the most intimate spaces in someone's life. Their closet. Their body image. The quiet insecurities they'd carry in but rarely say out loud. I'd watch someone come in hunched and leave standing taller, not because I changed who they were, but because I helped what was already there finally fit.

That work taught me something I've never forgotten: you can't stitch someone into confidence from the outside. It has to be revealed from within.

But I kept bumping into a gap. I could help someone feel better in their skin for a night, a season, a chapter. The fabric, though, doesn't touch what's underneath.

My own healing journey took me there. Into parts work, into the inner world, into the places I'd been dressing around instead of actually meeting. And I found the same principles waiting for me: patience, precision, and deep respect for what's already present before you try to change anything.

Now I help people who are already curious about their inner world find their way to their own practice. Not by telling them who to be, but by helping them finally feel at home inside themselves.

Somewhere along the way, a client started calling me their soul tailor. That one landed. It still does.

What it's like to work with me

We go at a pace you set. There's room to not know yet, to change your mind, to say that something feels like too much today. None of that slows the work down; it is the work.

When a part of you gets protective, we don't push past it. We get curious about what it's guarding. I'll be gentle and I'll be direct, and I'll tell you plainly what I notice rather than keeping it to myself.

Nothing happens without your consent. You decide what we open and when.

I will sometimes interrupt the story to ask what is happening inside right now. I may name a shift in your voice, pace, or energy and ask whether it fits. You can correct me. You can say no. We use what is true for you, not what sounds right to me.

We don't rush the ending. Toward the close, I help you check in with the parts that showed up, thank them, and notice whether anything else needs your attention before you leave. We come back gently with a few breaths, then pause together so you can name what you're taking with you. If you want one, I'll offer a reflection on what moved and where the work may be heading.

You don't have to remember or understand everything. You leave with simple ways to care for yourself as things settle, and an open invitation to reach out if anything comes alive in the days after.

    Approach & Training

I'm trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), and Somatic IFS, and I'm a certified SEEN Method® Relationship Coach. I receive ongoing IFS mentorship and consultation from Lea Dawn and Greg Halama.

My work also draws on EMDR, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), using what fits the person in front of me rather than treating these approaches as a menu to pick from.

I keep my own guides and practitioners, and I keep learning. Not because it sets a limit on how far you can go, but because showing up clear and present for your work matters to me.

"Your system already holds the wisdom. We're just creating the conditions for it to emerge."
