Understanding is useful. Practice is what changes the moment.
We work with the reaction as it happens: the urge to explain, pull away, brace, please, or take control. Instead of arguing with it, we slow down enough to notice what it is trying to protect.
Over time, that creates more room to choose how you respond rather than being carried by the first reaction.
What we practice:
- Notice which part is leading in the moment
- Slow down before reacting automatically
- Get curious about what a protective response is trying to prevent
- Practice responding from a steadier place
- Build a way of checking in with yourself between sessions
In the room
What a session can look like
We start with what is present that day. I may slow us down, reflect what I notice, or invite you to check what is happening - starting with the Mind, Heart, and Intuition.
If a protective part appears, we do not push past it. We get curious, and you decide whether to continue, pause, or close. We don't rush the ending.
Sessions can happen by voice or video, with the camera on or off.

Why I do this

My marriage ended. As much as it broke me open, that ending is what finally turned me toward my own parts, and that turn is the most important thing that's ever happened to me.
For most of my life, "love yourself" was a cliché I could never quite reach. Then I understood it differently: not love yourself, love your selves. The people-pleaser. The shame that spoke in my own voice. The critic who called himself standards.
I stopped trying to fix those parts and started getting to know them, and everything downstream moved. How I parent my boys. How I love. How I show up for everyone I sit across from. Yours won't look like mine. They never do.
The Journey
Three phases, with room to follow what your system is ready for.
Two containers of session time, for individuals or couples: 12 hours, $3,600, or 24 hours, $7,000. One scholarship spot each month is funded by full-rate clients.
Foundation
We begin by noticing your internal signals, meeting your Core System (Mind, Heart, Intuition), and building steadiness for deeper work.
Deep Work
We get to know protective responses and listen for what they guard, approaching more tender material only with permission.
Integration
We review what has shifted, practice ways to check in with yourself, and name what still needs support.
The Approach
We move at the pace of trust
Your Knowing Leads
I bring attention, questions, and structure. You decide what fits, what does not, and where we go next. The aim is to help you build a practice you can keep using beyond our work together.
Wholeness, Not Elimination
Everything is a part. And every part is trying to help. We don't get rid of parts. We integrate them. Even the parts that feel destructive have protective jobs. We befriend them, we don't banish them.
Choice in Self
As you notice a reaction without immediately following it, more choices can become available. We practice finding enough steadiness to respond with intention.
This work is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles, integrated with somatic practices and embodied awareness.

Couples Parts Work
Couples sessions work best within a shared 24-hour container, weaving joint sessions with individual support. This gives us room to understand what happens between you and what each of you carries into the pattern.
The full picture, including how joint and individual sessions weave together, is on the couples page.
Three-day couples immersions
Three-day immersions are also available for couples seeking dedicated space to slow down, understand their patterns, and practice new ways of connecting. We'll explore whether an immersion fits your needs during our first conversation.
"This is probably the best we've ever done. We've done therapy numerous times, but never gained much. This is something we've been able to put into practice... and we're starting to do better than we ever have before."
"Real boundaries are understanding yourself enough to know that you matter, and what you need matters ... so that you can love. But you have to love yourself first."
This is for you if...
- You can already name your patterns, but they still run you
- You want a defined container with room to follow what emerges
- You're ready to go underneath insight, into the parts actually driving things
- You want to build a practice you can continue beyond our work together
Good to know before we start
- ·This is coaching, not therapy or clinical care. If you need clinical support right now, I'll gladly point you toward it.
- ·I won't hand you answers. My work is to help you find your own.
- ·Change tends to come from steady practice rather than a single breakthrough.
- ·We go toward tender parts only when you're ready, and never faster than that.
Not sure? That's exactly what the first conversation is for.
